Concept
日々のなかで、
ふと足を止める瞬間がある。
そのとき、
過去と現在が静かに重なり、
忘れていた情景が、
やわらかく立ち上がる。
そして自分の内側に深く潜り、
時間や場所の境界線が溶け合う中で、
様々な存在と対話する。
本作品は、
そうした“縁側のような時間”を空間にひらき、
人と場所、人と記憶のあいだに、
新たな関係を結ぶことを目指しています。
In our daily lives, there are moments when we suddenly pause In those moments, the past and the present quietly overlap, and forgotten memories gently emerge.
As we look inward, the boundaries between time and place begin to dissolve, allowing us to connect with different presences and memories.
This artwork creates a space for such experiences, like the calm and reflective time spent on an engawa, a traditional Japanese veranda.
It seeks to create new relationships between people and places, and between people and their memories.
