Concept
音楽と連動した光の演出が施された、
魔法の飛び出す絵本。
3.11の震災をきっかけに、
過去から未来への繋がりをテーマに制作された、
CDとポップアップブック(音と光が連動する飛出す絵本)による
コンセプトアルバム「The HOLE」。
人間はつい自分たちが地球の中心だと思い込み、
「今」の繁栄にばかリ目を奪われがちです。
しかし、
本来は人間も地球の自然の一部であり、
何万年という歳月をかけて脈々と受けつがれてきた
自然や、生命を、
これからの未来に対して受け渡す役割を、
我々は担っています。
そして、
人間が持っている欲望が生み出した原発などは、
人間の身体の一部とどこかで繋がっている、
ある種のモンスターのようなものではないか。
誰しもの中にある、
さまざまな欲望や葛藤、
それをどう見据えて次の時代へ繋いでいくのか？
このようなテーマを元に
「自然」と「子供」にフォーカスし、
全楽曲が一つの物語となったアルバム。

The HOLE is a concept album consisting of a CD and a pop-up book (a picture book that flies out with sound and light).
As humans, we tend to think that we are the center of the earth, and focus only on the prosperity of the “now”.
However, human beings are part of the nature of the earth, and we have a role to play in passing on to the future the nature and life that has been passed on from generation to generation over tens of thousands of years.
Nuclear power plants, the result of human desires, are like monsters, somehow connected to parts of the human body.
How do we deal with the desires and conflicts that exist within us all, and how do we connect them to the next generation?
Based on these themes, the album focuses on “nature” and “children”, and all the songs become a story.
