Concept
本インスタレーションは、日常の生活空間に眠っている私たちの内なる自然を、光によって照らし出す実験的な作品である。
作品に使用される糸は、地域の住民によって編み込まれ、彼らの記憶を作品の内へと取り込んでいる。
糸を照らす映像は、現地の自然からインスパイアされ、実際に撮影された映像をもとにプログラミングによってデコードされている。
This installation is an experimental work that illuminates our inner nature, which lies dormant in our daily living spaces, through the expression of light.
The strings used in this work are twisted by the residents of the area, incorporating their memories into the work. The images that illuminate the string are inspired by the local nature and decoded by programming based on actual video recordings.
